Studying Abroad
Webster Geneva
During my Fall 2023 semester, I studied abroad in Geneva, Switzerland at the Webster University Geneva campus. I finished my Global Citizenship Program courses and took a Leadership Keystone seminar. I was also able to travel and experience several different cultures during my time in Switzerland.
Reflection
Before my study abroad experience, I had never been outside of the United States. I never really thought about studying abroad before, but one of my professors talked about how he was going to be teaching video game classes at the university's Geneva campus. I was unsure about doing it at the time, but I talked to the study abroad office and my professor, and me and another game design student decided to study abroad there for the Fall 2023 semester.

I took a Leadership Keystone seminar during my semester studying abroad which refined my leadership skills and gave me an international view on leadership. I learned a lot from both my professor and other students in the class.

My experience studying abroad experience changed my life. It opened my eyes to a lot of new cultures and life outside of the United States. I had to adapt to a different language, different campus, different city, and different people. It was difficult at times, but I pushed through and improved myself as a person through it all.​
